Terms of service
Last updated 2026-10-04. These terms are between you (or the organisation you act for) and Selçuk Güral, Türkiye ("we"), the maker of TestDetta.
1. What you get
TestDetta is software that selects and runs the .NET tests a code change can affect. Subject to these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it:
- free of charge for public repositories;
- free of charge for private repositories during a trial of 30 days;
- for private repositories, under a paid license, for the repository scopes and the number of active committers the license names.
An active committer is a distinct commit author with a commit authored in the last 30 days, as described in the license documentation.
2. Payment
Paid licenses are sold by Polar Software, Inc., which acts as merchant of record and whose terms of sale apply to the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page; a price change applies from your next renewal, and we tell you before it does.
3. What you may not do
- Use TestDetta for private repositories beyond your license, or share a license outside its scopes.
- Remove, bypass or tamper with the license check, or help others do so.
- Resell, sublicense or offer TestDetta as a hosted service to third parties.
4. Your code and data
TestDetta runs on your machines. You keep all rights to your code, and we receive none of it. What we do receive is described in the privacy policy.
5. No guarantee of completeness
TestDetta is designed to select every test a change can affect and to run more tests when it is unsure. It is not a guarantee: test selection depends on your code, build and test setup, and can miss a test. Keep running your full test suite regularly, for example on your default branch, and remain responsible for testing your software before you release it.
6. Warranty
To the extent the law allows, TestDetta is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. If a paid version does not work as documented, tell us; if we cannot fix it, you may cancel and receive a refund under the refund policy.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or the cost of defects in your software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending
You can stop using TestDetta and cancel at any time. We may end your license if you seriously break these terms and do not fix it within 30 days of our notice. When a license ends, TestDetta runs every test, as it does without a license.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes take effect at your next renewal, and we will tell you in advance by email or on this page.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country still apply where they protect you more.
